For this semester’s HYPE, we wanted to focus on stories of immigration to produce a counter narrative to mainstream media’s one-dimensional, stigmatized depiction of immigration. Through a series of writing exercises carried out among staff, we hope that these stories we have collected show just a glimpse of how multifaceted immigration really is.
