The AARC serves as a resource center for Asian American and Pacific Islander knowledge and media production at the Claremont Colleges. The AARC works to meet the co-curricular needs of our student body by working in collaboration with the Intercollegiate Department of Asian American Studies (IDAAS). We seek to support the production of new research, periodicals, and videos that help inform the community of various topics and issues relevant to the AAPI experience.
The AARC Production Committee aims to preserve, institutionalize, and reify the collective memory of the Asian American Resource Center and the history of its student activism. Production does this by developing content and fostering alumni relations.
The production committee manages the “AARCivist,” a blog that aims to educate the online community about the AARC’s work and AAPI issues.
